Account & Data Deletion
Your Right to Erasure: In accordance with global data protection standards and user privacy rights, users of Orva have the full right to request the complete deletion of their account, personal identifiers, social login associations, and all associated medication and health logs.
How to Request Data Deletion
You may request the deletion of your account and data through any of the following three straightforward methods:
Method 1: In-App Self-Service Deletion (Immediate)
You can instantly wipe your local database and delete your cloud account directly from the Orva mobile app:
- Open the Orva app on your device.
- Tap the Profile tab in the navigation bar.
- Select Settings & Privacy → Account Settings.
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section and tap Delete Account & Data.
- Confirm your selection. Your account, local encrypted database, cloud backups, and Caregiver Circle connections will be permanently wiped immediately.
Method 2: Remove Orva via Social Login Settings
If you authenticated into Orva using Facebook Login or Google Sign-In, you can revoke access directly through your platform settings:
- Log into your Facebook Account.
- Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find Orva in the list of authorized apps and click Remove.
- You may optionally request that Facebook notify us to delete your authorized profile data. We process automated deletion callbacks upon receipt.
Method 3: Direct Email Request to Support
If you have uninstalled the app or prefer our support team to handle account deletion manually:
- Send an email to support@dhruvstack.com with the subject:
Account Deletion Request - Orva. - Provide the email address or phone number registered with your Orva account.
- Our operations team will verify your identity and permanently purge all associated records from our production servers and backups within 48 hours.
- You will receive a written confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
What Data Gets Deleted?
Upon receiving and confirming your deletion request, the following information is permanently destroyed:
- Account Identifiers: Name, email address, phone number, and authentication tokens.
- Medication Records: All active prescriptions, schedules, reminders, and historical adherence logs.
- Health Logs: Blood pressure readings, blood glucose logs, and Emergency Medical ID details.
- Caregiver Connections: All links between your profile and family circle caregivers are severed immediately.
- Device Tokens: Push notification device tokens are revoked from our dispatch system.
Irreversible Action: Once your data has been deleted, it cannot be restored. If you wish to use Orva again in the future, you will need to register as a new user.
